Since starting in 2017, we have focused on providing a simple, straight forward and efficient service without compromising on quality. Working from purpose built premises with commercial grade equipment allows us to achieve the high standards we set ourselves.

Whether you want a few shirts ironing or everything after a holiday Lucy Lou’s can accommodate your needs.

The process is simple, arrange a collection by calling or using the contact section at the bottom of the page and when we arrive we’ll weigh the items you provide. A lot of ironing companies charge per item and vary this depending upon the type of clothing, this can be complex and create uncertainty over the final cost you will pay if you haven’t sorted through your clothes first. In order to keep things simple we charge a flat fee of £4.50 per kilo. By doing this we can agree the cost before leaving, this allows you to add or remove items to suit your budget and avoids any surprises by knowing the costs upfront. As a guide 1kg is roughly; 5 T-shirts or 3 pairs of trousers or 4 shirts or 1 double bed set (duvet cover, 4 pillow cases and a fitted sheet).

Whilst collecting we’ll also confirm your preferences including whether you want everything on hangers or some items folded through to starch on shirts. If there is a specific way you like something let us know and we’ll endeavor to accommodate your request.

We can then agree a return date and time. Our standard service is 48 hours although you can specify to suit your schedule. We can also accommodate urgent requests and provide 24 hour, weekend and out of hours on request. All clothes will be returned on hangers (please keep your hangers to re-use on your next order) and in covers.
